Cattlemen’s Livestock Auction Market – May 13th, 2025

This week, we sold a total of 380 head through the ring on Tuesday, with some record-high calf prices! The market was a little bit softer in some spots this week, it would do more to quality than anything. Numbers were low this week, pretty much everywhere in the state. We are fixing to start getting to the busier season, I think we'll see a little bit of change in the market at that point. Again, the good quality cattle, on health programs, typically are your strongest cattle. Our buyers like a good quality calf to send north, something they can have a little bit more guarantee that it's gonna survive and thrive.

Overall, it looks like the calf market is going to stay strong.
